Granules are effective to -8F. No more chipping ice off your sidewalks or driveways - just melt ice away! Ice Melters contain Calcium Magnesium Acetate (CMA) that is effective even when temperatures dip below 0F. These ice melt products provide a safer alternative to traditional salt and calcium chloride products for concrete and asphalt entrance ways, parking lots, and steps. Nontoxic and non-corrosive when used as directed and wont damage landscaping, soil, or vegetation. Readily biodegradable per OECD or ASTM Standards. NSF C1 Registered. Meets USDA 1998 C1 Guidelines.
