Mid-layer jack-of-all-trades jacket (Nano Air, First Light, etc) advice?

Hey folks. My first post here and I'd really appreciate some advice. I run warm. Main winter sports are downhill skiing, trail running, some fat biking, I don't do any winter camping anymore, but tons of hiking. I got a sizable discount on Patagonia (1 time) and a gift card so I'm inclined to grab something like a Nano Air, but concerned with long-term durability and loft. Because I donít dress up every day, Iím hoping to buy clothes I can get more than one use out of (ie casual, hiking, working, etc.) Iím looking for companies that sell clothing that has a really good warranty. The only outdoor companies with lifetime warranties that I know of are Osprey (love their stuff, but no clothes) Eddie Bauer, and L.L. Bean. The reason Iím...

So, I search for the alternative and found the Ion Parka by Western Mountaineering, but I could not find any review about it. It also has the same amount of down fill and down weight, with gore windstopper, and almost the same weight with the Firebee I know the reputation of Western Mountaineering for sleeping bag but I know nothing about their parka, so can anyone share the your experience with me Is t...
