Protecting gear in an outdoor storage trunk

I am not sure if this is the best place to ask this question- but I figured the kind folks here would have some insight. I live in a small apartment and have to keep a lot of my gear outside on my balcony in a Plano heavy duty storage trunk. It holds my camelbak bag, gloves, some hiking equipment (no electronics), and boxing gear. By keeping it outdoors will it degrade my gear Will putting a towel inside help Thank you! :) submitted by /u/Phildabeast16 [link] [comments]...

Surfboards made from plants and old recycled surfboards (TOFINO, BC, CANADA)

This Canadian surf company is making an entire line of ECOBOARDS - surfboards made from plant-based resin and recycled foam from old surfboards that would have otherwise wound up in a landfill. submitted by /u/katcraats [link] [comments]...

Review- Teva Sirra Women's sandals

I also made a video review if interested. https://www.youtube.com/watchv=Wb9_gjdH3sU I recently bought a pair of Teva Sirra Sandals, and I thought I'd share my thoughts. First off, I love them. Each sandal is over 130 g lighter than the Tirras that they replaced, and they look nicer, dry faster, and get fewer rock stuck in them (thanks to narrower straps). https://i.redd.it/fnsvilytj4e11.jpg So here are the pros: Light (for a sports sandal) Attractive - I can wear them to work (as a teacher...

Lib Tech Rasta POW NAS Skis - 8981ltpwn11zz-lib-tech-skis by Lib Tech

Item description: This Hiking Skis product is by Lib Tech - The Lib Tech Pow NAS reCurve Ski slices through crud like a high-end Japanese knife slices through fine cuts of Wagyu beef, but it also floats in pow like a fat man in the Dead Sea and tears up the park like a golden retriever shreds a taco-soaked napkin. All this means that if you're looking for one board to handle all your ripping this winter, the Pow is it. Lib Tech is famous for its snowboards, but its migrated its board technology into the NAS (narrow-ass snowboards skis, giving them a feel that's unlike any other planks out there. Most significantly, the Pow employs Lib's famous Magne-Traction serrated edges, which supply tons of ice-shredding edge grip without giving the ski a hooky or unpredictable feel, even in soft snow. This is also due to the Pow ReCurve rocker profile, which combines a rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot for smooth turn initiation and killer float, so you can hit high speeds, carve into park jumps, and slide rails without worrying about catching an edge and ending up on your mug (Lib Tech still recommends de-tuning your edges if you'll be spending a lot of time gettin' urban, just FYI . Lib built the Pow on Power A wood core, which it sandwiched between layers of fiberglass to give the ski a reasonably stiff flex and plenty of pop, so you can rally from the top of big lines, through the trees, and into the park without stopping or getting sketchy. An Anvi-Tech layer helps reduce vibration and keep things damp, while the UHMW sidewalls direct even more energy into the edges for hardpack performance that other pow skis just can't handle. Key Features of the Lib Tech Recurve Pow NAS Skis: POW NAS Magne-Traction reCurve Technology: Magne-Traction serrated edges provide unbelievable ice edge hold and grip. reCurve dynamic early rise camber rocker combo technology gives life and pop underfoot and catch-free jibbing, float in powder and carving power on ice and hardpack at your tips and tails....
