I'm thinking about swapping my rollmat for a reindeer hide and wondered what the pros and cons are. My main reason for thinking of getting one is that I want to be more sustainable and not buy lots of plastics but also to be able to use it in winter and summer. I've seen many people using them for all seasons and say that they are good, I wondered if you guys knew anything about them please and thank you submitted by /u/Bananaface21 [link] [comments]...

I am planning to climb a 7000m peak this summer and i need a light insulated water bottle or thermos. Previously I used a 1.5 liter primus thermos but its backbrraking heavy! Is hydro flask really a good option or some Thermos brand thermos would be better Heat retention is a thing too! submitted by /u/Gaubitza [link] [comments]...

To those of you who know, is this jacket a high build-quality jacket worth the 130 dollars I really don't want to accidentally pay for something put together in a 3rd world country for 10 dollar...
I'm trying to get a hood to attach to my nice carhartt-style jacket for spring, to use if I'm ever out at night and it gets chilly, or when it rains. Only problem is all I can find are the duck hoods that look like they're made for super duper cold weather and I'm worried I'd overheat. Any recommendations on where to get hoods by themselves I expect to sew on whatever I get; it doesn't have to be "compatible". Prefer olive and tan color, lightweight warmth, wate...
