What are the pros and cons of a reindeer hide as a rollmat.

I'm thinking about swapping my rollmat for a reindeer hide and wondered what the pros and cons are. My main reason for thinking of getting one is that I want to be more sustainable and not buy lots of plastics but also to be able to use it in winter and summer. I've seen many people using them for all seasons and say that they are good, I wondered if you guys knew anything about them please and thank you submitted by /u/Bananaface21 [link] [comments]...

Thermos for Mountaineering

I am planning to climb a 7000m peak this summer and i need a light insulated water bottle or thermos. Previously I used a 1.5 liter primus thermos but its backbrraking heavy! Is hydro flask really a good option or some Thermos brand thermos would be better Heat retention is a thing too! submitted by /u/Gaubitza [link] [comments]...

The North Face Men's Atlas Triclimate Jacket

Hello, Anyone have any thoughts on this jacket Supposed normal price is 260, but it seems to be on sale at many places for 130. That's a bit higher than I'd like to spend on just a jacket, but I have to admit that I don't have a solid, cold weather, water/wind proof jacket at the moment. To those of you who know, is this jacket a high build-quality jacket worth the 130 dollars I really don't want to accidentally pay for something put together in a 3rd world country for 10 dollar...

Fischer Koa 100 Skis - 8976fikoa10w14zz-fischer-skis by Fischer

Item description: This Hiking Skis product is by Fischer - Fischer's Koa 100 earned lots of tester kudos for its ability to make quick turns in almost any conditions, from cut up crud to the steeps to the groomers back to the lift. Able to change direction on a dime, it also has incredible grip on the hard stuff. If you want a big mountain ski that excels in decent to above average lift-served conditions (I'm talking to you, East Coast and Front Range skiers , the 100 is worth a long look. The only caveat If you prefer big arcs and the biggest terrain, the short swing sweetness of the 100 might feel like more work than you want.
