What are the pros and cons of a reindeer hide as a rollmat.

I'm thinking about swapping my rollmat for a reindeer hide and wondered what the pros and cons are. My main reason for thinking of getting one is that I want to be more sustainable and not buy lots of plastics but also to be able to use it in winter and summer. I've seen many people using them for all seasons and say that they are good, I wondered if you guys knew anything about them please and thank you submitted by /u/Bananaface21 [link] [comments]...

Thermos for Mountaineering

I am planning to climb a 7000m peak this summer and i need a light insulated water bottle or thermos. Previously I used a 1.5 liter primus thermos but its backbrraking heavy! Is hydro flask really a good option or some Thermos brand thermos would be better Heat retention is a thing too! submitted by /u/Gaubitza [link] [comments]...

The North Face Men's Atlas Triclimate Jacket

Hello, Anyone have any thoughts on this jacket Supposed normal price is 260, but it seems to be on sale at many places for 130. That's a bit higher than I'd like to spend on just a jacket, but I have to admit that I don't have a solid, cold weather, water/wind proof jacket at the moment. To those of you who know, is this jacket a high build-quality jacket worth the 130 dollars I really don't want to accidentally pay for something put together in a 3rd world country for 10 dollar...

  Blizzard Bonafide Skis
Blizzard engineers had to think long and hard as to how they could improve the Bonafide, but they did. This past season they added the Flip Core Carbon Rocker Construction to it. Flip Core Carbon Rocker has 90 degree Carbon Fiber integrated into the rockered areas in the tip and tail to reduce the weight of the ski to eliminate tip wobble on firm terrain, lower the swingweight, and make the Bonafide easier to control, to allow a wider range of skiers to enjoy ripping any terrain possible.   4FRNT KYE95 Skis
Kye Petersen narrowed the waistline on this model but didn''t take away any of its ability to out perform its wider counterparts. The extended taper and rocker tip shape float in the widest variety of snow conditions while keeping the skier forward on the tips. With the lowest tail height in its class, the 95''s extended running surface and shorter turn radius make this the "best in class" for the KYE series in firm to variable conditions.
