I'm looking for shoes for hiking and backpacking. I haven't yet decided between boots, hiking shoes, or trail runners. I've been using trail runners for the past 500 miles or so, but that's mainly because they were the most breathable shoes I could find. I'm thinking about swapping my rollmat for a reindeer hide and wondered what the pros and cons are. I am planning to climb a 7000m peak this summer and i need a light insulated water bottle or thermos. Previously I used a 1.5 liter primus thermos but its backbrraking heavy! Hello, Anyone have any thoughts on this jacket Supposed normal price is 260, but it seems to be on sale at many places for 130. That's a bit higher than I'd like to spend on just a jacket, but I have to admit that I don't have a solid, cold weather, water/wind proof jacket at the moment.
