Protecting gear in an outdoor storage trunk

I am not sure if this is the best place to ask this question- but I figured the kind folks here would have some insight. I live in a small apartment and have to keep a lot of my gear outside on my balcony in a Plano heavy duty storage trunk. It holds my camelbak bag, gloves, some hiking equipment (no electronics), and boxing gear. By keeping it outdoors will it degrade my gear Will putting a towel inside help Thank you! :) submitted by /u/Phildabeast16 [link] [comments]...
