Gregory Baltoro 65/Big Agnes Hog Park 20 help

I have a Gregory Baltoro 65 pack and a big Agnes hog park 20 sleeping bag. Holy cow this bag is huge and bulky. I couldn’t get it in the sleeping compartment without undoing the little divider which just makes it take up too much space in the main compartment. Down jacket Recommendation - which would be the warmest

Long and short i am researching a down jacket to get. It will be solely for day to day use around town / commuting. No high activities, and by no means needs to be ultra light or super compactable. Just something to keep me warm in Northern NJ and be some what durable. It would be layered with a fleece and or shells depending on the weather so not being too puffy would be a plus. Looking for Jacket Recommendations

I'm looking for a waterproof jacket that's lightly insulated for cool days that's not bulky. I'd like the option to layer if I find myself in colder weather. Activities - daily urban life, hiking in the rain, and golf. I've looked at Arcteryx's Interstate but not sure about the button/snaps on the sleeves.
